What would everyone say the codes would be for the following:

1) tails 16mm not broken seals to check main fuse but if going on 100amp code c2 ?

2) old bar heaters in bathroom. code c1 ?

3) no supplementary bonding to pipe work at sinks in bathroom. code c3 ?

4) cracked socket code c2 ?

5) cooker circuit also feeding two sockets in up bedroom ?

any recommendations

Board has rcd protection to sockets, bar heaters but not to lighting or cooker circuit.

Thanks.

1. Cant code till you know for sure really , otherwise its just a guess.
2. Depends on if its in a zone , C2 if it is , C3 if its not.
3. If no rcd's for all bathroom circuits then code 2
4. Yes , C2
5. C2 if cables to sockets are in 2.5 or less , C3 for sockets having no rcd.

1) Tails 16mm, I would LIM this as you cannot be expected to remove the fuse to check on an EICR, The DNO's think that 16mm on 100A fuses is just about OK anyway, (check the size of their service cable!)
2)I would C2 this if in a zone, c3 if not
3)C2, unless the readings between all Extraneous conductive parts and Cpc's of bathroom ccts. come out at less then 0.05 (usually means there bonded where you can't see)
4)C2
5)would depend on if the sockets are fused down or just direct spurs or spur on spur, if they are fused down no code (maybe observation), if they are a direct unfused spur no code (Observation) or if they are spur on spur in 2.5mm C2. If they are in 6mm or 4mm, No code.

Do any of these people bother to come back and read the answers we've kindly given ?
Or am i just talking to myself lol.
