[ElectriciansForums.net] Free power

Working a local cafe the other day installing a new cooker & changing undersized tails.
Powered install down by main switch, noticed radio didn't go off. Check supply to RCD to find an additional unmetered supply lol.
Think it's been like that for a good few years as well

and just when you thought energy could neither be created....nor destroyed..lol..

There's a submain off the main switch to feed the old 3036 board for the lighting. The internal RCD wiring has been removed & a 6mm twin comes through the back of the board behind the RCD to feed it. The conductors have also been over sleeved to make them appear kosher. I thought it maybe fed from next door or the flat above but the supply goes off when I pull the main fuse.
Never seen anything so well disguised & neatly done, it can only be connected in the back of the meter or in the cutout

Had a lady complain that she thinks the guy in the upstairs flat 'stealing' her electricity the other day
put clamp meter on her tails, but found nothing untoward, suggested she bought an energy meter to see if her costs/ usage went up when his washer was on
must be honest is it not a case of it been a really easy thing to do
