We do a bit of domestic, commercial & industrial so they'll come in handy for other things I'm sure.

I'd like to see how you manage to terminate a gland with a hammer and chisel!

Bahco every time, the long jawed ones though. My old knipex cobra set will be retiring to the garage toolbox as they're useless for anything bigger than 20mm glands

Depending on the size of the gland I use a mix of 2 adjustables and/or grips.

get knipex alligator, don't get the standard they expand further which is useful, problem is people keep asking to borrow them

best to get two pairs, its difficult to tighten conduit/box to conduit with only one pair

i had a really cheap pair and they ended up in the bin. i tried wiha auto adjusting but couldn't get on with them

(ive used them on a 40mm chuck of a crap drill and they work fine so should be fine on most things)
