I wouldn't bother mate, I got a pair of those strippers but not Line branded sitting in the bottom of a box in the garage.
Gone back to my trusty stanley for a neat cut.

Here is a photo of the similar [ElectriciansForums.net] LINE Cable Strippers CK 495001 version in action.

Lol, someone bought them into work one day. Useful for downlights. So I stated messing around with the adjustment and to my surprise it stripped the white cover off the flex.

Believe me the apprentices all went out and bought them. I would sit an apprentice In a room for days just making kliks.

I have one of these; fairly certain it's the CK one. Works well for both the core and sheath on T&E up to 2.5mm² (can't remember trying it on anything bigger). It's not so good where you're trying to strip the sheath inside a backbox, it needs some space to work.

thats a fair price, ck ones i paid 14.95 last week i had 21 down lights to do. i used heat resistant flex into a click box, much quicker! saved a lot of effort and leaves a clean job.
stripped some 6mm t&e down as well, seamed to cope ok.

I have to be honest and say I've never tried those new fandangled strippers. We have about 10 pairs of the old fashioned type with the setting screw in our workshop, we have each one set for different panel wire sizes. At the price they're selling for I'm sure they're worth a punt, we pay more than double that for the manual type.

These strippers are brilliant, they take the outer sheath off t&e perfectly as well, I only use them if I've got a lot of ends to do (db changes etc) but they save a lot of time and effort without any damage or marks to the conductor

If you use them reversed. Cable entering from right to left (end of cable on left) then it doesn't leave any little lines on the t+e sheath

Also good for cutting strands of cable armour, although I try to restrict their use to copper.
