Has anyone installed on a EPDM roof (membrane). I have a customer who wants a 8 panel on his Garden Room (Eco Sheds..), I dont want to use a flat roof bracket/Tubs system as the pitch is good enough for rails direct on to the roof. Has anyone got any idea's ?

Cheers

I have used hanger bolts one this once for a mate who lived somewhere that something not firmly bolted down probably wouldn't have lasted the night never mind 25 years... it still worries me slightly, but we took a lot of care to ensure every bolt was well sealed, and haven't had any reports of leaks yet, and I believe the panels are still in place.

your other problem though would be knowing where the rafters would be....

Yeah, we've also done an install on an EPDM flat roof and we used hanger bolts.

I wasn't keen on it, but it was the only option and the homeowner decided to take the risk. I'll see if I can dig up some pictures.

They were sealed to withstand a thermonuclear blast but time is pretty good at wrecking weatherproofed solutions.

We'll see how it goes.
