hi guys, whats the easiest way of wiring up an extractor fan ,light sensor, and lights all in the bathroom, (down lights) ive wired the lights already! please dont say, get an electrician!! im training to be one myself!!!

draw it out. if you want the fan to run on (timer) then it needs a perm. L. don't forget RCD on all bathroom circuits. with the fan, you should get a wiring diagram. then just add the sensor.

Think of the sensor as a switch, Feed the sensor, lights back to the sensor (twin), fan back to the sensor through an isolator (3-core ).

myt way would be to switch the fan independently of the light/s. that way you don't get the fan rattling round for 15 minutes in the middle of the night, waking the sleeping dragon, when you just want to go for a pee.

he wants the sensor to control the lights

Doesn't say that, so tell me where below he states he wants the fan and lights to be controlled by the sensor?

the bit where it says "light sensor"

Like this perhaps if you want the sensor to operate the lights and the fan as if it were a normal light switch and the fan has a timer overrun.
