called out to shut off the power in a recently vacated industrial unit today. unit been empty 3 days and the thieves have already been in.
This what i found at the main panel board, these cables are still live!

I can't for the life of me see the point, just for a couple of small section of copper cable!!

Anyone notice the size of these cables, look like at least 600mm, then look at the the size of the connection bars off the main switch. The lug sizes are far too large for them, unless the thieves had the adapter connection bars away at the same time, but it doesn't look like their were any, going by the neutral that looks to still be in place...

I know a lad who does rewires in tower blocks. They swoop in and do all the local athoritys house. Well this one guy found out so decided to strip all the cable and pipe from his place so he could weigh it in first.. It was November and his wasnt due till January..

No heating nor Electrical for the whole period... What a tool..
