Anyone got a recommendation for a scrap cable stripper? I bought the basic one from a forum sponsor, but I'd like a recommendation from someone that's used one which actually works.

If it's big enough to be worth bothering to strip, it's big enough for a stanley knife. If it's small stuff, sell it as such and let them worry about stripping it! :)

Sorry for building your hopes up :)

The outer sheath is stripped off (stanley) but the inner cores still need stripping. There's a fair bit of it to do so it's definately worth it as it's several times the price when clean.

I'd have thought this is way more risky in catching the inner insulation and definitely slower

I have a set. I must admit that I seldom use them however. But the concept is good in my opinion.
