I'm after some advice or suggestions on these fire alarm panels known as 2 wire , I've been recommended twin flex panels ??? Thx

Twin wire and 2 wire are different ways to install, if your talking abaut twin wire as in Rafiki.....keep well away, what are you looking to install...?

Yea I'm doing 14 shops in a shopping centre at the moment, each unit has its own zenex panel with a 4 core back to individual interfaces outside each shop that are on the loop for the centres vigilon.

I like em, they are not too bad cost wise and I think they are great to fit!

Presume this is a HMO Grade A, so Just a suggestion here, would look at Kentec T series fire alarm panels, using apollo sav bases, with S65 detection. You can also use any type of siren you wish, good ones being Squanshi base sounders or wall sounders. This will cut down the wiring costs and be a good professional system. Without being rude, Twinflex or rafiki/Menvier are sold in electrical wholsellers to gain maintanence agreements, not good for you or your customers.

Straight Bi interface to gents addressable, Had a great one years ago in Stratford were each shop had to pulse the shop panels either side, the logic code was a nightmare...lol

Ok I'm looking at installing 2 zone panel, which will consist of fire detection in communal area and and 1 heat detector in each flat. So smoke at each level , call point at each level and heat in each flat.

that two wire where you can put heat, smokes and sounders and call points on one zone.

yes all wired on same fp200 cable.

heats, smokes, sirens and call points all on the zone cable, please note sirens are wired in reverse.
This is the cheapest, easiest and best way to install a system, once you have done it you will continue to use.
Hope this helps

I have a thing for c-tec . I like their stuff. Perhaps their alarmsense cfp is an option for you? Uses their cfp alarmsense panel and apollo alarmsense detectors, sounders( or sounder and/or beacon bases) and callpoints. All two wire. (Steer clear of twinflex/fike/rafiki, their alarm equipment is likley to cause a bloody fire)

Is there a good range for this beginner, first install. Nice small one. That why I wanted the system that has detectors and sounders on one device . I know my insurance doesn't cover this so might have to sub it out... I know you don't like to discuss prices but what could I expect to pay someone for supply and fit 2 zone conventional with 2 smokes, 2 heats and 2 cal points all easy runs.. Even if I ran the cables for someone to fit out and commision
