Im looking to put lights in my planter. My thoughts are come off rcd skt into fused spur on outside wall in enclosure , then onto switch, then off too lights. The lights I'm looking at say ip67 which is dead on but assume will have 300mm flex which will need to be jointed which I'm unsure if adaptable boxes with whiska glands will hold out under the soil. I also have spare 2.5mm swa but think is a bit bulky and won't seal as good as a Ip67 gland .

do you think magic gel is necessary?? Can you get ip rated glands for swa?? Any other options I'm all ears ty .

Yeah it's the stuff I need, have seen the gel stuff before but not putty. If I was to use t boxes for every light might cut down on amounts I need....

have you used before? If so how many t boxes would 500g fill? Lol , your answer = how many tenets worth i need.. You might know. Thx

Not sure, it's a while since I've used any, from what I remember 500g filled 4-5 20mm conduit through boxes.

I'm sure your wholesaler will be able to recomend how much you need. Even if you order too much it's always handy to have, and it doesn't from what I remember have an exparation date.
