Doing an eicr in a hotel and the maintanence guy asked if i could take a look at an intermittantly tripping rcd.

Rcd tested fine, so i started disconnecting the fittings for an ir test and found this.

200mm of kingspan, and unenclosed connector blocks sitting in the kingspan directly above a 50w downlight.

Anyone else had any fun findings this week?

I did see this this week, all services in one place!
Water, sewage, gas, telephone, alarm and plenty of power.
The pit is about six foot deep!
Just glad I did not have to work on it.
