Has anyone ever come across a 2G light switch where the switches are vertically above each other and designed to fit on a conventional 2G pattress fitted vertically??!

I can't even think of a grid system to do that!!

I'm just trying to answer a question for someone over on the MSE forum. Cheers lads.

[ElectriciansForums.net] Stupid 'have you ever seen' Qseen these stacked on above the otrher.

That's the same here, too. I can't even think you could double stack two single plates as they wouldn't fit (side by side boxes are always slightly wider than a normal 2G box).

Hang on lads, Mrs Rock's just dragging me out for a run. Back soon.

dual backbox , fitted upright , standard 1g plate switches stacked , job done.

anything else is just being effing awkward.
;-)

so then the back box has 2 lugs, top and bottom, but the switches have the pins horizontally.
