small odd (drill) bits storage

went to a nice tool shop, been looking at £50 makita and dewalts drill and bit sets, come back home and been looking in my workshop, trying to tidy up the tool bag with small little bits getting lost in the pockets.

baccy or other steel tin (little bigger will be nice to hold christmas tree step drill bits)+ couple or more little neodymium magnets from ebay or market = best ever drill and bit holder ever

An old glasses case is quite good for that sort of thing. The spring loaded lid stays shut and stops things falling out.

Like it i have had a boars head tin for over 20 years for drills and an other full of tallow great stuff

Aye, I've used shedloads of baccy tins in my time for keeping small bits & pieces in but where can you get them from nowadays?

All the baccy is now sold in those daft plastic pouches that are neither use nor ornament.
