Hi Everyone,
I had a customer call me last week regarding a strange green sticky substance oozing from their kitchen socket outlets.
When I popped over to have a look it looked like the substance was only being generated on the neutral pin holes of the outlets in samll quantities. On closer inspection it also was being produced and had dribbled out from the kitchen ring main MCB in the CU onto the busbar cover!
Ive seen green corrosion in electrical accessories before but never this sticky substance in such quantities.
Can anybody shed some light on this and possible solutions?
Thanks.
