Anybody work in Dubai, I did generally the standards are similar to oz with british plugs and sockets all radials,people very friendly,no jihad stuff here.Saw some sheik saying he was worried bout his people when the oil runs out,first thing I thought,well,guess it's back to camels,hashish,AK-47s and burqas,not Rolls Royces,Johnny Walker Blue,Gold plated Wildey 475 automags and 400 grand a night hookers.

No they're not, FRC are almost as common in the UAE as they are in the UK!! Oh, and the electrical standards generally follow those of the UK, with very few differences and with a different cover!! lol!!

That's what high class ladys of the evening cost there,of course if youre not fussy any old slapper will do,when I worked there a Austrian hoe,called the ''Lady'' ran the girls,dont ask me how I know,my missus would pull out her hillbilly dueling pistol,an 8 gauge triple barrel sawed off pump action shotty,hold 27 rounds,9x3.Chuck Norris eat your heart out.Saw lots of scuko sockets there as well as the odd aussie crowsfoot,which we installed in 1937 to sweep any old those round british things,never say anything but radials when I was there lots of Square d stuff.Kirk Key racked breakers very common too.When you get to 20,000amps plus s/c 200000A the yanks have NO competition.
