Well you won't have to worry about breaking them on small wires!
No the whole purpose of the thread was because I was looking for something simple/reliable to take overseas as this job entails a lot of travel and I didn't want anything too heavy/unreliable etc because of weight restrictions also the company want us to use purpose made strippers as there was an expensive site visit once where wires had failed due to being stripped with snips/cutters etc.
 
I got given a pair strippers from weidmuller, stripax I think there called.

Best I've ever used. Most jobs I just use my snips, but for panel building these are just so much faster. I wouldn't pay for them though, last time I checked they were circa ÂŁ70
 
I did try them and yes very good but I wasn't about to spend that much for them to get pinched by a foreigner!
Having said that the pair I did get was considerably less than I thought I'd be paying and are very good for the money! They were a trial really before I bought a more expensive make but like I said probably as good as!
