Best Practice Guide to Cable Ladder and Cable Tray Systems 2016-08-23

This publication is intended as a practical guide for the proper and safe* installation of cable ladder systems, cable tray systems, channel support systems and associated supports. Cable ladder systems and cable tray systems shall be manufactured in accordance with BS EN 61537, channel support systems shall be manufactured in accordance with BS 6946. It is recommended that the work described be performed by a competent person(s) familiar with standard electrical installation practices, electrical equipment, and safety of electrical wiring systems. These guidelines will be particularly useful for the design, specification, procurement, installation and maintenance of these systems.
