It looks as though the Ethos EV adaptor has all the same features as the Megger EV adaptor?
I assume it’s the 4mm banana sockets you are concerned about and not the BS1363 socket? To be honest I expect most people would only ever use the latter.
You really need to be doing some IR testing to solve this. It sounds pretty basic and should be easy to get to the bottom of with the right test equipment. Can you get someone you work with to help? Someone with proper test equipment. A £10 Kewtech socket tester doesn’t count!!
So how do you expect to find the problem without testing? Apologies if I’ve got the wrong end of the stick here, but if I’m dealing with a symptom of tripping pretty much the very first thing I do is IR testing

Lap switches and sockets are junk too. Seen so many failures. Would never fit them. I sometimes buy the cat6 euro modules. They are rebranded Philex and decent.

Nobody ever seems to have a claw hammer in their bags in the reviews etc? This is one of my most used tools. If it doesn’t fit in the LC, then that’s that out. I want to carry a claw hammer, bolster, couple of...
Looking to have a bit of an upgrade of my cordless tools. I'll be sticking with Dewalt as some of it is still in good nick. I find it irritating carrying multiple small cases around for various drills etc, batteries, chargers though.
Can anyone recommend a storage case suitable in size for a...
