New Consumer Unit, what do you think ?

Have you explained to your customer the benefits of a new RCBO board? no nuisance tripping, modern future proof design? What would you charge, £300 supplied and fitted?

Motor Tripping RCD but it's not even connected to it

True but RCDs can be twitchy things when motors are around. It was just a suggestion. Your borrowed N idea doesn't hold up as the OP said the RCD can be reset once the motor is running. Its just the start up that trips it.

Motor Tripping RCD but it's not even connected to it

Is it possible to move the problem circuit to between the Main switch and the 1st RCD? might stop the heavy load affecting the RCDs. Or possibly fit another small non RCD ccu just for that circuit?

    We're good...but we're not miracle workers.

Reminds me of a Sign in the workshop of the firm I done my time on “We the willing, who are led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing” So step up soldier! :D

I started in this game in 1983. (15th edition red book;)) we only ever had white T&E until the harmonised cables came out. (2004) Maybe it was a southern thing??

Well at least its nicely labelled! And to clear up the white outer sheathing thing before we "harmonised" with Europe Twin and Earth cable only came with a white sheath. When we harmonised, the sheathing become Grey, then later LSF appeared with a b******d to strip white sheath!

    EICR pricing advice.

Depends how big the place is and how many circuits are on each board and as others have said how thorough you are testing........If it looks like a weeks work price accordingly.

I think this is wrong, thoughts please

Yes the service head is a 100A 3 phase PME job that feeds a Ryefield board. Each fuse feeds a flat. Some of the meters for the flats are mounted on a trunking next to the Ryefield board. As said the laterals are run in PVC conduit with no separate Earthing conductor.

I think this is wrong, thoughts please

The PME connection is only just in the flat each time, before the Neutral goes into the ccu, it was because the meters are remote it means a fault current would go through the meter. Some of the flats have had the meters moved into them, (that's the Henly blocks you can see above the trunking...

No idea but it's been in service since 1980!

I think this is wrong, thoughts please

In a 3x3 pvc trunking above the ccu.

I think this is wrong, thoughts please

Tel there is a N-E connection in the Ryefield but it's the pvc conduit that buggers it up imho.
