    Fluke 1651B Bargain Price

I’ve a Martindale VT25 that does Phase Rotation. It’s a shame about the case. I’ve seen people use the Magnusson Organisers instead. The Fluke ones are very good. Needs a decent set of test leads as the Fluke ones are extortionately expensive.

The leads are expensive that’s the only thing at £169 on eBay. Plus it needs a case. The fluke one is £45. The Martindale he has is okay. That only needs calibrating but has everything.

It’s not a bad price. It just needs some new lead and a case. He’s also got a Martindale ET4000 Multifunction tester for £200.

It’s not a fault it doesn’t do ramp testing or phase rotation. I’ve linked the spec sheet.

I can put some pictures up. It’s all working but the only setting it doesn’t do is phase rotation or RCD testing

My friend also informs me that his mums bought a Lazy Spa. The 40a Type B MCB has been changed to a 20 amp. Looking at the power consumption and the lights and chest freezer it’s just under 16amp. Plus the RCD which is recommends in the manual.

Okay so I’ve looked at what is currently fitted in the shed it has a small chest freezer 0.75 a 36w LED Light and a 44w LED Light. So I’ve worked out to 830watts so about 4 amp when divided by 240v.

The cable has been completely cut somewhere in the garage ceiling. That’s why there was no reading. But as it was late and I’d seen the RCD had tripped and noticed the water ingress. I THEN went and looked in the Consumer unit and when trying to get continuity. There was no reading.
