When connecting a new boiler into an existing switch fused connection unit and you are not modifying or extending any of the fixed circuit wiring, do you carry out the full range of tests shown on the minor works cert, with reference to a NICEIC version?

Has part F now been modified with regards to notifications when installing extractor fans? It’s been many years since I’ve installed one but have heard that you must have attended a recognised training course, have a calibrated anemometer and complete a specific form for building control with...
How much of your day will the installation tie you up for, including travelling to and from the job, showing them how to use the app, certifying the job etc?
Although the gas pipe may no longer require the bonding, it should really be terminated correctly or completely disconnected at the other end. Don’t mess around with the cut end whilst the installation is energised.

if your rad stat is calling but your heatmisers are not calling, then your heatmiser actuators should be closed. Seems to make sense.
You should be good linking permanent live to LS in wiring centre or take it from boiler or double up from your fcu. Your choice. If you’re unsure, just remove the plug from the boiler and do all your testing first, before reconnecting it to the boiler. At least if it goes bang, you’re not...
