    is it acceptable to wire a light from a socket if you put a spur unit in to fuse it down? and place a 3 amp fuse in the spur unit?

    To be perfectly honest i didnt check as the terminal block just had 3 connections in... they could have though. I thought i would need a 3 core though. lighting baffles me. thanks anyway

    wish i took one now. basically the floodlight is at the top of the house with a T+E going to it. then from the light is another T+E going to the PIR. The light use to work before the PIR stopped working..
