Hope he's ok. As Pete says but for the grace of god. I regularly have to work live. I mainly work in banks now and my company can get fined for interuption to power. It's always in the back of your mind is today the day I make a mistake. We're only human after all..
Happened me one in a shopping centre in Dublin. I could see 3 appliances rushing towards me and I praying they would drive by. Unfortunately not. It's not my fault if the monitoring staction can't understand basic English though is It?...
They do charge in Ireland too but you don't have to pay it believe it or not. It's a public service and paid through general taxation.
If your neighbours chimney was on fire say, would you call the brigade and run the risk of paying for it.
Might be different though on commercial property though.
I have seen this been done before. Depends on panel and protocol. They are called multisensors. One thing I would check is the spacing. A smoke wI'll cover 100 square metres but a heat only 50. I did them in a church. Have them on a timer and keyswitch for a funeral etc.
As mentioned earlier a bad supply. Another I encounter is bad quality cheap ballasts (china). I've a job and every time I test the emergency lights at least 3 ballasts fail. Always in converted fittings. Nightmare to change out.
I agree with a lot of what is being said. Norway etc have trade deals with the EU but they have to pay for that and have no seat at the table so to speak.
As an Irishman it is worrying times though. Our biggest trade is by far the UK and we have no political heavy weights to negotiate after...
That was meant for darkwood. I think he took me up wrong initially. If Britain leave the EU the free trade is going to stop. It has to. Britain will not be as competitive then. The large multinationals will not look as favorably on uk as a country in the EU to set up manufacturing plants. Why...
If I had the vote I'd vote to leave (I'm irish). The EU has destroyed this country. Major homeless crisis in Dublin. Wage agreemends being torn up by multinationals. Terms and conditions are non existent. The middle being squeezed to pay back the banks.
The ironic thing is we fought for 700...
I wonder is it all about ratings stateside with less blanc. Maybe they are not bothered about this side of the pond. It's shown in 150 countries I believe
Our parents must be related..
When I rewired my parents house I put the fittings in the centre of the room. My mam God rest her insisted I put them back in the right spot. I never had a clue until now why they were off centre.
Was listening to the radio today discussing Brexit and how it would affect us in Ireland. It stated that 5 million British have at least one Irish born grandparent.
No questions. Just found it interesting.
