    For the record - we did NOT install this!! South West facing, sandwiched between 2 x 2 storey houses and just look at the overhang on the top l/h corner. Would love to see how their generation figures are measuring up to what they were quoted!

    I suspect its just marketing bluff on SC part - so anything over the next few months is planned in with their kit. I've spoken to a number of distributors and they have all said that accreditation for what they stock is well under way and they expect it to be finalised in early 2014.

    My understanding is that they will need to achieve a D grade if there is heating or cooling in any part of the building supplied by the meter that the PV will be connected to. If there are multiple meters on the site and you are only going into one of them then this may make it cheaper for you...

    I think SMA sent us some replacement plugs for free, so it may be worth calling them. Ours was a 3000 or 4000TL and it could have been one of 2 plug types, not sure about your model though.

    We had something similar a while back, you should be able to phone SMA with the serial number of the inverter and they will be able to tell you what it was supplied with.

    Mortgage Company Notification HELP !!

    I've not had it with mortgage company but a guy I was pricing for had a wrangle with the insurance company as they wanted all of the info on the installer/kit before they would tell him they were ok with an installation. The guy changed his mind about an install so we never got it resolved.
