Had a van deliberately blocking a clear lane on the motorway in a traffic jam (lane merged further up) so I phoned his company from the number on the van. A few minutes later I saw him answer his phone in the wing mirror and he moved over :p
Mainly fault finding on control panels and some reasonable size machines with various control panels and control rooms.
I like the idea that it shows AC and DC voltage at the same time.
Thanks.
I’d not seen the Fluke ones, thanks!
Quite expensive at £67 each, I’ve not found anything else though.
I’ll order some nylon rod and magnets and make my own slim ones I think.
Sorry I fell asleep writing a reply last night!
It’s what Lucian Nunes said though.
On some machinery we have there could be more cable terminations in one control panel than the average house, add on the other four control panels and the smaller control boxes (4 switches on a small box), then...
Quickly connect to contactor, PKZ, PLC, drive terminal etc to avoid holding a probe on it while you test around for the other end, usually 10 meters away in a different control panel!
Every day for the last year I’ve been thinking I need some test probes for my multimeter that have a small magnet in the end to connect to the screws on contactors, MCB’s etc.
I found these on eBay, but the diameter is 7.5mm so a bit big for some connection screw holes.
Has anyone seen any...
Thanks, after seeing the price for Fluke Connect, it’s put me off Fluke! The 287 & 289 are too expensive.
I like the Megger but will probably get something with logging.
Does anyone have any experience with the Kewtech 1052?
Evening, I’m looking for a new multimeter.
Just the usual AC/DC voltage and resistance autorange and capacitance / diode rest.
I also want min/max/average readings.
I looked at the Fluke 3000 FC, which does logging, but am I right in thinking that the app to use it is £159 per year?!
Is...
I used to use AutoCAD but binned it off. Paying monthly for software is a joke as well.
I now use TurboCAD 21 Platinum, it cost £14 from eBay for a license and is very similar to AutoCAD for 2D, 3D is better!
