    Completion certificate

Sweet. I maybe worded the question wrong, I knew it would be a condition report but wasn't sure on the extent of how much I needed to test!

A customer I've been doing work for since I went self employed is in the process of selling their restaurant and they're needing retrospective planning permission for some dividing walls they had built to split up the restaurant/bar. They need an electrical certificate for extra emergency lights...

    Any boiler service engineers on?

It's coming from a little hex screw on the front of the brass body. The pipe on the left gets very hot very quickly, I presume it's the flow? No pictures I'm affraid. I'm back tomorrow so I'll phone technical, just looking for a heads up before, that's if they'll talk to me!!

    Any boiler service engineers on?

So do you think it's just a coincidence that both the leak and the fault code have started? The boiler fires and heats to 24deg then cuts out.

    Any boiler service engineers on?

Went to look at a vokera (linea I think), there was a leak from the brass body of the flow or return where it connects to the boiler base plate. The boiler is also showing fault code 28, which says is "flow and return T error". The book also says that any codes beginning with 2 is a wiring...

    NIC or SELECT

You can't join select without being an approved spark and having served an apprenticeship or similair. I was under the impression that this isn't the case with nic?

Is there a tube holder made for LED tubes T8?

Didn't check, I just assumed it was a similair output. It was just for a skanky kitchen so didn't require a top class fitting.

Is there a tube holder made for LED tubes T8?

I contemplated buying an led 5 foot fitting but didn't see the point. It was twice the price and the led was 40 watt whilst the fluorescent was 58w! Didn't se the benefit of the led.

    Dead van

The vans mechanically sound, at least it was until yesterday morning!! It's a 56 plate with 108000 on the clock, silver, roof rack and tow bar. Couple of cosmetic dents. It's had seat covers on from new so the interiors immaculate. If it's needs a new engine I would consider a recon engine, as...

I'll find out on Monday what's wrong. It was a great van so hopefully worth getting fixed and let someone else get a good van at a good price.

    Dead van

Couldn't be bothered with buying a van that would need to keep going in and out of the garage, can't really afford down time! Hopefully this should give me at least 4 years reliable service???!!?? Renault trafic for sale if any one wants one!!!

    Dead van

Just a little update, went to buy myself a second hand vivaro or trafic and walked out with a brand spanking, new style vivaro. £12k which I though was a not bad deal considering I saw a second hand vivaro with 10k miles for the same price (old style).

    Dead van

I spoke to my mechanic and he said it doesn't sound good, plus the clutch is on its way out. I think I've talked myself into a new van![emoji54]

    Dead van

I'm in 2 minds about leasing, I personally prefer to buy as the van would be mine after the finance is paid. If I had a fleet of vans then maybe, but not for 1 van.
