    Just to add to my post . The channel profile groove is done by the granite installers with normally a sharknose finish to the worktops. The channel profile we use finishes flush with the bottom edge of the work surface.

    I also use the profile with a diffuser, the diffuser i use makes the LED's seem like a continuous light so you do not see the individual LED's I order my LED tape made to length with any corners pre-made and ready to go.

    I would also be testing from isolators to disconnected cooker and shower. Testing to the isolator is not the entire circuit.

    If you do not provide a test certificate after the moving of the consumer unit and something happens you will be the one to blame. (i bet any insurer will not pay up if no certificate) Any alterations, additions and even changing a light requires a certificate.

    i have done this many times and use the manrose mft100t it has variable speed so you can wire at what speed suits length of run etc. I normally use a y 4inch and also use pir operation for both bathrooms.
