    it's deffo not recommended (ask aico) because people could think its a smoke going off when in fact it's a CO,thats why they have different sounds

    well said it before so will say it again,got called to a job in liverpool the smart meter had been bypassed for several weeks while building work was being done , this smart meter was a bit dumb

    not sure what happened to paignton petes post , however for what its worth i work in west lancs and used to be in a scheme ,but now just issue the right certs to the customer even when BC are involved ,i do this with a copy of my 2391 and never had a problem.

    why do we do this to ourselves,there is only one answer here, replace the meter tails and other cut cables as they were, cost is irrelevant.
