    When doing my figure of 8 on the ring circuit to get my r1 + r2 value i get 0.18 at the db. But at the socket outlets when using plug in lead for megger the results are varying at sockets up to about 1.8 ohms.     Condition report on static caravan

    i am starting testing static caravans for foreigners on a farm, with the new condition report sheets. Does a static caravan come under section 721 of the regs or is it section 717. not sure as these caravans could not be towed by a car and would need transported by a lorry.

    had too for short term fix, didnt have anything else but surely better that than the earthing that was there before no !! will replace earth clamp on monday tho :)

    Max Zs readings where circuits are protected by 30ma RCD's

    why would u leave an installation with 68.4 ohms as a Zs, 1667 ohms or not that is clearly something u would investigate. makes u wonder wat goes thru some folks head !!!!

    yeah ur right i usually do the ze and pfc tests first but couldnt shut hotel down when i arrived.

    Its cable with an outersheath which is a material wrapped round. then stripped back before cut out and earth clamp onto inner sheath. very old cutout also
