    Ok, thanks for this. Still slightly unsure. I have 2 pairs of wires to connect. (each pair to a different end of the tube) From what you say, one pair goes to 1 /4 the other 2 / 3 ? Does it matter which way round they are? Can it be 4/1 as well as 1/4 ? The wires are hardwired into the old...
