Would a load register as something like 0.06 Meg ohm on a circuit between N - E ( something like an unfused spur with the fuse removed? or is it just wishful thinking
the diagram is a bit wrong as the junction box and isolator are in zone 1 as is the conduit
so if I'm reading it right 230 volt equipment wiring systems isolators and junction boxes all at 230v are allowed in zone one if they supply equipment that's in zone 1?
seems kinda wild but then again...
I remeasured it and the junction box and the isolator are at 2.46 m and the conduit is a bit lower lower so its 230 v in zone one is that still allowed protected by and RCBO
its an electric cover with 230 v going to a box that controls the the cover that's at a height of 2.46m which makes it just inside zone 1 if that helps
I remeasured it and the junction box and the isolator are at 2.46 m and the conduit is a bit lower lower they are both covered by an rcbo is that allowed
the junction box is in zone 1 and the isolator in zone 2
they are both IP65 or 66 as far as i know
contractors have installed a pool cover and have situated the isolator and the junction box at just above 2.5m but the conduit running between them with the 230v cable in it goes down to 2.47m at its lowest point.
Is that allowed or is it pedantic?
please see poorly drawn diagram for more...
Hi all can a Maintained emergency exit bulk head light fed from non lighting circuit if it is correctly fused and test point provided if no local lighting circuit is available ?
so it is lit all the time and would be in the case of a power failure
https://www.mlaccessories.co.uk/product/3303422/230v-gu10-led-emergency-pack
has anyone used these before and if so do they have a compatible bulb I have only found one OSRAM bulb that seem to work with this fitting when it is switched on to its emergency battery
any one any idea is Is it to...
Does any one know if a basic switchdim or touch dim ballast can be used with a Pir that's will dim the lights up and down in accordance with the level of light available?
Or is it just dimming on a retractable switch
TT System with 31 ohm ze that drops down to 0.31 ohms when the bonding is all connected
Am I right in thinking that's because a house nearby has been converted to a tncs and they share a common bonded gas supply?
