Supposedly the testing centre I did it with have access to the e-certs but they’re telling me they don’t! I smell a wind up and to be fair it’s working!
Would be a more exciting story if that were the case. Unfortunately I’m waiting for it in order to accept a contract offer, which is looking like going to a competitor if they don’t pull their finger out
An initial verification has to be carried out in full, in the correct order at all times in my opinion. A periodic you have a lot more flexibility due to the fact that 9 times out of 10 you’ll have various circuits that can’t be turned off and therefore certain tests your unable to carry out...
For a periodic I totally agree but not for an initial verification. If you explain to the customer why they need it then youll get paid. Plus sometimes you have to do things you won’t get paid for, for your own piece of mind.
I’ve been waiting 6 weeks for my 2391 certification. It’s supposed to take 7-10 days. No help what so ever from their “customer service “ department. They’re refusing to send me out an e-certificate that I can use in the mean time. The test centre I did it with are being just as, if not even...

Haha apologies! I shook the hornets nest with that comment. my bad! I’ve never heard yet alone been called the term “mush” so that’s a new one I’m more than grateful for though every cloud and all that......
Haha I’m assuming you don’t have any children then Pete? If/when you decide to have some, the choice will be taken away from you mate I promise you that!
No they are currently just flex’s coming out to final position which I’m aware I can just test the ends of and deduct the overall resistance of the flex from final r1 + r2. It’s more the spurs that have no loads/flex’s connected that I’m concerned with
Yeah I’ve heard autocad is on the way out and from the research I’ve done on revit, it looks to be a massive improvement. Various designers I’ve spoken to swear by it but they say you should learn autocad as well as some clients will request it.
My daughter is fluent in minionese so I’ve got...
