update on our menagerie. in addition to the 6 females (5 bred by us, 1 a rescue) we have 2 survivors of a litter of 3; 1 had a fatal reaction to vaccination) now 10 weeks old and ready to go to new homes, but the current financial squeeze is making it ditfficult to find a buyer with the readies.
the only decent form of loft insulation is foam or kingspan between the roof rafters. the 20ft. thick fibreglass needs banning. it's almost as bad as asbestos.
if I remember correctly, one is for aux. output (PIRs and such) and the other one for the charging circuit for the panel battery. was 1980's when I last installed an Optima.
Cut that box the get the cables out without dissing the wagos. Replace with a Wago XL box, which has cable restraint built in. Then tidy up the connections 1 at a time. Be nice to see a pic. of the CU wiring.
Can't see any problem with that. As long as the cable hasn't been damaged. If you have a multimeter you can do a continuity test L - N. but for insulation testing you'd need a more specialised instrument, commonly called a Megger Tester.
I sleep like a log once the heat of the day is gone. not been much else to do all week. lightning fried my router and house phones. mobile is in repair shop for new screen, lost back-up phone, had a £160 bill to get drains unblocked. beer fund sadly depleted. still not walking right since hip...
