Really sad news. The last posts she made on here she seemed to have come to terms with what was happening. I just hope in the end it was painless and peaceful.
I'm with Pirate. Screwdrivers. Doesn't matter how many you've got you'll never have the right one so just keep buying. If I wasn't currently 100 miles from my van I would post a picture of my tool chest screwdriver draw. It's full. Plus the ones in my backpack and various other tool bags.
Well, I've had my new Transit for a few weeks now. It's only done aound 3000 miles so far but what do I think of it? Let's put it this way, if I could have my old Transit back I would. So, what's wrong with the new one? Well, I still hate the 'square' steering wheel. The fuel tank is a lot...
Ah Gamazda. Her version of 'Comfortably Numb' is an absolute joy. It's amazing how she can make her piano sound the way it does. And she's a looker too

At power stations electricity is generated at one voltage then stepped up for distribution. The generator output is usually around 21kV. National Grid distribute at either 275kV or 400kV. DNOs go up...
You obviously don't drive a van. Reversing out of a space with limited visibility can be dangerous. At supermarkets I always look for a double length space so that I can go straight through to the far space and drive straight out when I leave. If I must use a single space I always reverse park...
Looks pretty good. Graphics are not as good as the FlightRadar24 app but then the web version of FlightRadar24 graphics are pretty poor too. I like the 'U' option which just shows military aircraft. It's currently showing just a A400 over Chester, an Apache over Cambridge and an Irish Air Corps...
Back from 2 weeks in Scotland. It was one of the best holidays I've had in a very long time. The weather helped a lot. The daughter actually caught a bit of a sun tan! Back to normality today. Got a week at Didcot to look forward to.
