    Sun? I was at home in Wales! Long drive up to Great Yarmouth yesterday afternoon, all at double time :) I'm currently sat in the sun. Got to wait while they get things ready for us.

    Wasn't the last one but it was recently. The company I work for rent them from Sunbelt as they are the cheapest - and cheapest for a eeason :-(

    The day keeps giving. I got out of the cherry picker, 2 of the guys I work with got in and started working on a 400kv bushing. The cherry picker dies. Error 27 canbus fault. Luckily I could get them down on the ground controls.

    I started the day with a bacon omelette. Got messages around 9.30 off the 2 kids wishing me a happy fathers day. I'll be spending the next few hours in front of the set up below then hopefully we'll have the permit to reconnect the gen transformer. So, my main view today

    Ah, Littlebrook. I spent a few weeks at the power station many years ago. After it was decommissioned I believe they used it for a while for practising London underground rescues. They had 'crashed' trains set up in the turbine Hall.

    Today is finish the install of the 3rd analyser. Was hoping to have it done yesterday but things went a bit 'breasts skyward'. Got a power cable and a temperature probe to connect then swap the permits over, deisolate and get the commissioning done. Tomorrow will be doing the final commissioning...
