    Yep, played this game with CEF. The IET book was useless. Unreadable six point typeface and most of the essential appeendacies missing. Swapped it straight back to and got the correct OSG; which, incidentally, was checked during my CPS assessment.

    Does anybody know of this new regulation that omits the ZS test.

    I make that spot on. Table 41.5 on page 64 leads to the conclusion that safe touch voltage divided by the RCD trip current is 1667 ohms so if 240v x C-min of 0.95 is 230 divided by 0.030amps we have a happy Zs of 7.6 Kohms! That can't be right...... (promise I'll learn how to work the sub-script...

    The final word. Popped into Rexel (called summit else last week) and generally impressed. They want to do business and the IT systems appear to be getting an overall. Again, thanks for sharing - I'd never heard of them before but looks promising.

    20 quid for a NV200! You must have bought mine ;) Seriously I will probably stretch to an HD for 60 quid ish. Useful for capturing moving number plates but you're right - can't beat a bit of on-line shopping.

    Good point on the local independents. Tried two. One was based on the corner sweet shop and the other never missed an opportunity to sting you for a few quid more. Both off my radar now.
