Hi, some days ago my TV remote (Toshiba) stopped working magically. If I'm looking through the camera of The Phone, I can see the IR sensor flashing constantly, WITHOUT pushing any Buttton. I soldered a different IR Led and condenser but it still constantly flashes. I don't know what I could do...
Yes I wrote that I checked it with a multimeter, there are steady 12.03V.
They are not the same type.
In my opinion its weird that they are spinning the same speed when I connect 1 to run on 7V and 1 Fan on 12V.
If I connect both to 12V (always Parallel) one fan spins at 50 % and one at 80%.
I...
thank you for this :)
The curious thing is I recognized that 1 Fan is spinning on full speed and the other at 50%.
They are wired parallel and if I'm connecting 1 to 12v pins and 1 to 7v, they are running on the same speed. thats weird.
Hello, I had a thread already where I wanted to know wether I could connect 2 Fans to 1 supply.
But now I have another problem.
I wired them parallel( + and - together of both fans into one plug).
How could I now check the voltage on each fan
with a multimeter?
to see what every fan gets...
No , 4 Pin PWM. I thought I said jt before I'm sorry if I forgot to say that.
I know how to connect them to run on 5V 7V and 12V. I choosed 12V for both.
I am connecting both fans parallel to the 12v DC source, where usually the standard fan is connected. So imagine just the xbox with 1 fan like i bought it and I just connect another one to the same 12v Plug where first was one
I'm thankful for all your replys , DPG and Spoon , thanks :).
If I connect them in series and we don't care about a limitation, would they both get 6V and spin almost the same speed ? IDK because they have different comsumption (0.2A and 0.29A) or is it not relevant.
yes I know it,
thanks for your reply :).
I meant if I could twist + and + of both fans and both - together and connect the twisted + of the fans to the + of the source and same with the -
Do you understand what I mean? I'm sorry if this question is stupid but I'm no electrician.
I have another question.
Would it be okay to twist the + of both fans together and same with - and the plug it into the connector of the motherboard 0.0
I meant the Conse itself needs 7-8 amps when playing high graphic games.
the fans have 0.22 and 0.29 amps
The supply gives 10 amps.
I just want to figure out why 1 fan connected to the plug will run at 100% of speed and both parallel run at the same speed at 70-80%
Ok so I found out that there is enough space.
It delivers 10 amps ( the power supply) and it needs 35-90Watt so at highest 7-8 amps.
But I dont understand why the fans are spinning the same speed , but just at 70-80% of the full speed. If I connect 1 fan , it runs at 100% and sounds like a jet...
It should, yes.
unfortunately I have nothing to check it :/
All I could say is that before I installed the second fan, the first one ran at 100% speed.
When I wired the second fan parallel, they where running at the same speed, maybe 70 %.
Haha, I know :D
But to calculate whether it could handle 2 12v fans with the power supply specs, I would need to care about everything what needs power inside of the xbox (disk drive, hdd...)
