@pc1966 Thanks for the heads up it works well, don't shout too much about it or someone will find a way to stop it.

    Any advice on rewires?

Of all the various forums I visit this is the only one that we, as the contributors have the most complaints about adverts and cookies, no matter the excuse's and various masse's of them, this is the only one that is difficult to manage and no notice is taken of the complaints.

    Any advice on rewires?

But why are we having to go through all this, its a complete fafe and does not happen on any other site, but this one? The standard browser that most use is Google are they trying to bypass the normal browser? Or are we just being played for the sake of it?

    Any advice on rewires?

But what is the "Sausages (just for tracking a min lol needed a word, I must be hungry) message all about and videos in between posts, this is daft and annoying. These things are put on here by the site owners who obviously get a return from the advertisers. I would suggest that the site...

    Any advice on rewires?

My stand is that I do not want any site to put anything onto my computer without my consent, if they insist then I move on and don't buy or use that site, it's getting to that stage with this site, and yes I know I will not be missed, but I do like the occasional informative thread.

The Panasonic Eneloop Nimh batteries have a much lower self diss-charge rate than other Nimh's, I think it's somewhere about 10% in a year, more convenient when your equipment only gets intermittent use.

    Any advice on rewires?

I am logged out every time I leave the site and have to accept cockies to log back in, this is becoming unbearable, this has been going on long enough, I don't know how many regular contributors you will loose if this goes on any longer, but it seems ADMIN only care about the advertisers and not...

Spring Budget 2024 Allocates £800m To Offshore Wind Farm Projects

@pc1966 There is an advert for "Elba Lanzarote Royal Village Resort" in the middle of your post 121 from "JET2HOLIDAYS" on my MacBook using Google. Every time I come back to the site I have to log in, this site is becoming unusable. Just installed this...

    Any advice on rewires?

It's how it used to be done in the UK, electricians first fix consisted of marking out the route for the conduit and a specialist did the dirty work, this was all before some bright person (did not want to say spark😳) came up with the idea of using ceiling board as it was called, on the walls...

    Decent multifunctional tester

That e-bay Megger is very funnily worded, it does not say it's the one pictured, but "exactly as pictured" be wary of that description and ask it the unit pictured is of the item for sale.

Inside the bell box will be a series of pins with a jumper plug, the pins will be denoted, one combination of pins will disable the bell box siren with the jumper plug. Factory set engineers code is usually 0000 or 9999, some unusual ones are 1234. Or as most scrotes do just fill the bell box...
