I think that this is to target possible domestic customers and some commercial customers alike who are under the false impression that the Nic Eic are “God’s” due to it being a household name these days.
I don’t think they have been sold at wholesalers Pete it’s more observed in the wholesalers that more people are getting scheme logos put onto their own company shirts.
There are really only two options either locate somewhere to park just outside of conjestion zone then walk or public transport in,or get in before it starts as I believe there are only cameras to record people coming in.
Here is an old thread where someone has kindly written it out.
This is a great thread to have bookmarked as I do.
Hope this helps
DPN5 Tick Sheet Explained - https://www.electriciansforums.co.uk/threads/dpn5-tick-sheet-explained.70016/
Thanks tel,
I’ve always thought that if you have 2 branches from on mcb being a radial the additional branch may only serve on point as per the “spur off a spur”? As these radials will have more points that is why I suggested the the two mcbs.
These either need to be split into their own mcbs or if possible be made into a ring and put on a 32A mcb,
IMO get an electrician to check the installation for you they have the right equipment to ensure yours and your families safety.
A very common and dangerous mistake, my money is on one of those neutrals being a switch live, if this is within your limit as you say do your have the correct equipment to test for this?
Also a bathroom is a special location.
If you intend on using the earth of the house your working in why not use the live and neutral aswell and plug in an extension lead or am I well off track???
Welcome to the forum, you seem to present yourself well hope you get the employment you seek, if you do get the apprenticeship apply to get access to the Trainee section of the forum where there is a wealth of knowledge and great guys and girls to help you on your journey. Good luck.
There are so many guys who have done online only training and exams, they struggle to get experience and pond life firms like this are exploiting that.
Yes the C/U was changed the asbestos was removed and disposed of safely also the property did need a full rewire with gas and water bonds needed upgrading also.
There are 4 fuse carriers inside usually 1 lighting 1 ring 1 cooker and 1 heating circuit, I came across one about a month ago and this was the inside of it. As @Murdoch said be very aware that there is a very high possibility of asbestos rope flash guards inside.
