    The Apartment has been rewired and each one will connect to its own radial . Want something 'smart" with timers etc . never really looked into the market .Any brands that stick out as been reliable ?

    Depends.... Do a GOOD EICR first and see if the wiring will cause a RCBO board issues ... if so, stick on a twin RCD and hope for the best or do a full rewire .God know how many "stolen " neutrals and earth etc you have?

    £60- a hour ... But Currently on a big project so have done a Day rate that suits the customer.Its a 2 bed full refurb and its me and one labourer .Marylebone High Street , so a nightmare for logistic ! 3 months worth I think

    Today's equivalent of the Bosch 24v SDS +

    went from a 24v Bosch to a 18v Dewalt .Tech has moved on a lot .The 18v punches just as hard. Friend has ERBAUR and raves about them value for money wise. Says the batteries are excellent

    I think location sometimes has NOTHING to do with it...you are either in demand or not .This is down to either you not "networking " or your clients not doing the"networking " for you . OK,,,in the middle of nowhere things can be tough .But in most big cities things still seem to be moving...

    LOvely and busy ... One job that will last me 3-5 months so cannot complain ! There is money out there for sure . But many are greedy and think we all can charge what the Eastern bloc want cash and dont care about the rules etc . Stay away from clients like that .
