    I tend to use Vpro dimmers etc .But recently have had good luck with Knightsbridge PINK dimmer with manual trimming on the back. (Lead edge type )

    What about Individual RFC's for each room both sockets and lighting ? A single RCBO's can cover 3 x bedrooms sockets etc . But they still all"drop together " rather than only the one when an issue occurs . I agree with the testing Bit!

    True...but given the chance for a FULL rewire and a nice large consumer full of RCBO's..I am going radials !

    Client has purchased a night flat in Edinburgh. Its perfect for using as a ST rental during the festival as the agents claim £6k a week is the value based on rooms and location. It was nicely decorated in 2018 and has a twin RCD Board . Wiring etc etc looks very good .Its a tidy install ...

    How to "Monitor" a RCBO??

    Anyone think of a way for a 'tripped"RCBO to notify property owner etc. Client has a valuable display cabinet thats fed from a RCBO (Radial) . But wants to know if it ever "trips" ? And the cabinet loses power .

    What could cause a Fluke T2 volt tester to dance up and down 12-230v

    New batteries ... There is a dimmer attached to the light circuit . Full power its fine .turn down , light flashes , volt meter LEDS dance up and down. 2 x dimmers tried .
