    Probably just a big leakage that happens when everything restarts after the power cut and is booting up, if started at different times the leakages don't line up.

    Hi I'm doing a rewire of an old victorian terraced house built in the 1890s the plaster and bricks are extremely fragile even with a hammer and scutch chisel the brick just crumbles away leaving no solid fixing, what is the best way of fixing boxes back square? I've thought about expanding foam...

    You should fit a new Wylex one, I fitted one yesterday for the first time, I was really impressed with it good quality metal and the main switch with double screws are rcbos are extremely solid

    Be careful with there sockets, if you use male threaded adapters or some swa glands which are long then you can't screw the faceplate back because of the design of the socket

    What cable are you using ? I'd give it less than five years before any that is exposed to sunlight is cracked and falling apart though
