Anyone drive a pickup rather than a van?

I've had my 2.2 manual Ranger for a year now. 36k miles, Pegasus top, so much more useable than a Snugtop. Sliding loadbed and opening windows in hardtop make it really easy to access everything. At the weekend remove seat covers and deep floormats and it becomes a very comfortable family...

If you're brand-orientated, which are your main few?

I open the box and there they are!! Boom! Boom! 10.8 for drill and mini recip, 18 for bigger drill and grinder, and 36 for even bigger drill, all hold charge and last , though they don't get used all day nonstop, they work fine for me.

If you're brand-orientated, which are your main few?

Wera for screwdrivers, and now spanners and 1/4" sockets. The hold on their tools is comfortable, and handy little design features, like nut holder (snigger!) on the open spanner. Sockets and spanners used to be Proxxon, still rate them for heavy duty dismantling! Knipex for cutters, crimps etc...

    Hard hats

The thing that moved me to Centurion helmets were their fleecy liners for winter work. main contractors we were working for at the time wouldn't allow hoodies, beanies etc to be worn under the hard hat.

I bought a new Ranger Limited in September. Had it fitted with a Pegasus Hardtop, and a sliding loadbed. Extras were Satnav, reversing camera ( a must have!), tow bar. I do 1000 miles/week, quite a bit of "rural" ( other side of a field!). It's so comfortable, I can leave home at 0500, drive 3...
