    DIY Very Big Bang

The supply company will need to replace the seals on the meter. As it is a rented flat was he even allowed to drill holes in the wall anywhere? I guess the landlord is not going to be happy.

    Ripped off by cowboy

An isolator may 'nice to have', but it is not a requirement in the regs as you can isolate at the CU.

In that case you need a plumber. Kitchen sinks should not leak.

13amp plug for 3000w induction hob

Singapore uses the same systems as the UK. That 15 amp round pin socket was way overloaded at 7200 watts (perhaps you never used all the induction hob at once) but doesn't seem to have come to any harm. So re use it for the new hob. These are clearly 2 phase induction hobs wired for single...

    Need some advice. - 12V to 240V

It is nothing to do with the compressors capacitor. It is the starting current of the motor in the compressor that is causing the trip. A stationary motor has a big inrush current at start up. So a bank of capacitors won't help. Possibly a series resistor to limit the start current may help...

Attach 1 double socket to CU

If the new socket is near the CU. Remove one of the legs of the ring from the CU MCB and put it in your new socket. Run a short length of 2.5 T & E from you new socket back to the CU MCB. Thus the new socket becomes part of the ring.

    Need a different mcb

I hope you asked for the fitting fee back. That board looks like a Wickes one. Don't know if they still do that model. By the way manufacturers instructions are guidance only and don't have to be followed if they are wrong. It appears they are wrong in this case.

    Consumer unit replacement

No. Manufacturers instructions are guidance only and don't have to be followed, especially if they are wrong (which is not uncommon).
