    Working today with a friend and i used this cheap Heatgun .Shrinking onto tails . NO juice in property at time .WOW ! amazing machines for the money. Can see myself buying one . The SWA shrink shrunk nice and tight and no damage from too much heat etc

    Kids from the age of 15 at school should be doing extra classes where they can get their hands dirty, mechanics, building, electrics etc etc . Real stuff not some daft 3 month course where a teacher teaches them only to change a fuse .Give the Kids a chance to see if they are into working in...

    Min £75 for something worth fitting if access is hard. Spend less and you will be paying someone to"access " again . having said that ..LED's dont last for ever !

    Ive mentioned it in another thread but thought I would make a specific post !! From a quick look its a "piston type " affair .The leaver lifts up and pulls out the rod in the middle .A bar has to be inserted to the rod that then allows the lever to roll upwards pulling etc . I'm old...

    yes... and one that has a paper trail that will never give me an answer . Its like no one cared . I think 9 flats , all roughly a million squid and the electrics are a mess .... The manager has NO clue other than "You can turn it off to work for one hour only" .But it looks like no one has...

    One look and they ran !!! . To isolate for the main 60 amp DP incomer switch I had ready etc to attach the new meter to etc .We went with the building manager to isolate and found this .... Now Ive never seen one .But I do know thy can have a history of not going back on due to the pins...

    I always have "cash" with me ...I dont mind throwing £20-50 to get a better result like where things go etc .
