36,000 / (400x1.732) = 51.96A. This is your design current (Ib)
Select a fuse rating (In) that suits your (Ib) and make sure the tabulated ccc (It) of your supply cable is greater than (In) after any correction factors have been applied.
Morning all
Just saying hey....again  used to be an admin on here many years ago but stopped using forums for a long time.
Just nosing around, can see quite a few very familiar faces, hope everyone’s well.

Thanks for the replies.
Increased turnover and wanting to remove personal liability due to larger contracts with national companies makes me want to go Ltd now.
Hi all.
I'm about to start proceedings for creating a limited company. I've not had any real experience nor have any real knowledge of this area and have a couple of questions.
1. When invoicing another company for work carried out, would you deduct say 20% of the total amount and place it in...
Sorry for not following up.
Turns out the fault was due to airlocking around the PT. The new VSD didn't like the setup so I moved the PT further along the discharge pipework and it worked fine.
Thanks for the replies, nothing worse than when you start doubting yourself!!
Yes.
Starting to think it may be an issue with airlocking around the transducer due to its position as part of the pump assembly. With the loop calibrator connected in place of the transducer, the pump responds as it should.
Thanks for the reply.
AI2 has been configured in the grundfos go app for pump control via discharge pressure into a private water main. I've taken a 24V supply to the transducer from terminal 8 with the return from the transducer into terminal 7.
Screen is connected to gnd. The pump doesn't...
Hi all.
Could someone please confirm where to connect a 4-20mA pressure transducer to AI2 in the attached photo. I believe it’s terminals 7 & 8 but the pump is not responding at all.
Thanks.
We need a bit more info here before we can offer advice.
Is it a new system in a new house, does it really 'always' run i.e 24/7 or does it just overrun for a couple of hours, what make of boiler do you have??
By black stub slv do you mean black stub sleeving i.e MICC cable conductor sleeve??
If so, the outer the outer sheathing of the MICC cable is the CPC and tbh, you wont find a lot better even after 30+ years.
What problems are you having??
Depends on the engine.
At that age you may have one of the very first CDTI (Z17DTH) 100bhp models which are brilliant and the important parts are all Isuzu. Or it may have the DI or DTI engines. Both the earlier engines are sound but wont win you any races as they were a bit underpowered.
All...
What modules did you do in your btec??
I only ask as they may be more suited to an industrial maintenance type role rather than electrical installation.
What HNC are you doing??
That sounds more akin to a building services one than electrical engineering. Also bare in mind your tutor will make all the right noises to get you to sign on the dotted line!
When I did my HNC/D, the maths module was mind blowing! Granted, I didn't do a levels and...
