    Hi ,you will need to show some diagram or drawing,to work out what is to be gained by the addition of any diodes. I'm taking a wild guess that the switching enables simultaneous operation of pump and selected solenoid/coil,hence the need for diodes.

    Hi,when you say negative bus,is it the circular ring,with multiple male Lucar spades? It may be worth confirming it's full connection with the vehicles ground. A diagram or link to the system wiring you have,may assist.

    I reckon even if both cables entered together,the sheaths were together,both cpc's were identical lengths,and no future testing was expected....i doubt i would consider the 0.0003 pence saving,of another section of sleeving,a viable economy ?
