    CCC 1.5mm T&E ref method B?

I've often wired smaller night storage heaters in 1.5mm in the past, particularly when cable runs are short. There will always be someone saying 'it should be 2.5'.... :)

Going by that method and the description one of the reds would have been permanent live and the other switched live so no neutral at the light fitting ??

A bit pointless leaving the inch and a half of of outer sheath really.

    Best PIR security floodlight

I like the BEG PIRs too, my only annoyance particularly with the mini luxomat version is the closeness of the cable entries to the terminal block which makes connecting a bit fiddly.

Lovely work, both RCDs bypassed with the busbar also connected to the outgoing line and neutral on both. It takes a special way of thinking to produce work like that. 😜

I wonder why they felt the need to double up on the live link but not the neutral ?

SY cable on EICR again ....

I can't see why anyone would want to use the stuff, it's awful - rightly or wrongly whenever I see some I think a bodger has been around. 🙂

Cooker RCBO trips when any other RCBO tested?

That's exactly what I meant to say. 😆 Although quite a lot of the RCBOs now don't have the functional earth leads.

Cooker RCBO trips when any other RCBO tested?

A difficult one to explain but I'm pretty certain it'll stop once you locate and fix the cooker circuit IR fault, then testing that RCBO should have no effect on other circuits or vice-versa. Good luck !

Who uses a pickup style 4x4?

I can see the attraction but for mostly domestic electrical work I think a van is much more practical in terms of organising and ease of access to all your tools and materials, especially with sliding doors on both sides.

Two of the three conductors look a bit too close to each other but that could just be the camera angle.

    wiring in a bathroom heater

The power rating can be switched to either 1 or 2kW using an internal switch before fitting the cover, and for the majority of bathrooms 1kW will be perfectly adequate, and therefore economical to run. Even if one could be found buying second hand is a very bad idea as apart from uncertainty...
