    Wiring a relay?...................

That looks like a very useful product ! Not keen on fused spurs on Immersions though with the full 13 amps being drawn for longish periods. 20 DP switches are better, fed from 16a OCPD.

It looks like a 'Click' switch which are normally pretty good , probably just badly terminated. I hate those 10kW + showers, ridiculous amount of current draw really.

I think I'd have talked her into a simple 24 hour timer, instant wifi access to something that needs a good hour to warm up seems a bit ott. :)

On a recent EICR and CU upgrade the 30a rewireable for the shower also isolated the garage, gas boiler and cooker hood ! Luckily it was soon found that someone had shoved a 2.5mm in with the shower 6mm within the old Wylex. So a new and slightly unusual 20amp radial was created. :)

    Rogue Landlord Encounters

I'm a tenant too, and it's probably my biggest regret that we didn't get a mortgage sorted out many many years ago, but so be it. We're currently halfway through a 3 year tenancy, very nice house with a garage etc and we keep it immaculate but certainly paying enough for it ! And the owners who...

Quite smart connecting the live feed from the shower solenoid terminal to run the fan while the shower is operational though. :)

Wow, you'd expect them to be sorting that out for free as it's their equipment and well past its sell by date !

    Plastic or metal Enclosure?

In my opinion if it's purely a 2 module enclosure for a RCD an insulated enclosure will be fine - but others may disagree.

Requesting a check on electrical wiring in Kitchen

Those cupboard hanging rails apart from being upside down don't look as though they have many decent fixings either, considering the combined weight of loaded up wall units that could end up hanging off them.
