    I would have said with an interconnection the OP would get full nominal voltage on the disconnected conductors. 200v or less could be lost neutral.

    Yep you need to disconnect the whole circuit away from the CU and test again IR and ring continuity check if voltage is still on it first.

    Its suspect. A builder I knew would get quotes for electrical work from contractors and put his bit on, and if the customer accepted the (revised quote) he would say ok come in and do the work. Sub contracting behaviour.

    For me it was personal, was told at school forget it your not clever enough. Made me even more determined to prove the system wrong. If you put the work in and determination you can be/ do want ever you like.

    And he's starting college in September throwing away an opportunity. I started as a Saturday boy school holidays etc when I was 15years old back in 1979. Some of us knew what we wanted to be.
